2010-2011 Class Sessions
Children are placed in a class based on their age and developmental level. First, determine which class your child belongs in based on his or her birthday, then choose which set of days you'd like him/her to attend.

Two's Class: This class is intended for children who will be at least 2 1/2 by December 1, 2010. It is for children who are entering their first year of nursery school. Diapering service will be offered. Class runs from 9:15-11:45 am.

Three's Class: This class is intended for children who will be at least 3 1/2 by December 1, 2010. Diapering service is also offered for children in this class. You may choose between the 3 day and 5 day option. Class runs from 9:15- 11:45 am.

Pre-kindergarten Class: This class is intended for children who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2010. It is designed to prepare children for kindergarten. You may choose between the 3 day and 5 day option. To receive the full benefit from this program, we recommend the 5 day option. Children placed in the 5 day option will be given priority placement. It is a longer school day than the other classes, allowing more time for programming. Class runs from 9:05-12:00 pm.

"My Toddler and Me": This class is intended as a first school experience for children ages 15 months to 3 years old. Children attend this two hour class with a parent or caregiver one day a week.

Tuition is discounted for families with two or more children attending at the same time. Your second child receives a 25% discount off the regular tuition rate. this discount applies to the lesser tuition rate and does not apply to the "My Toddler and Me" program.
If you decide to enroll your child, you can secure his or her place by completing an "Application for Enrollment" and submitting it to our office with a $60.00 non-refundable registration fee.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Two's Class 2 ½ by December 1, 2010
This class is a first school experience for the children entering this program. Often, it is the first time away from their parents. Children learn to play and share with others, develop listening skills and foster a sense of self worth and self confidence. They listen to short stories, sing songs and learn through discovery and play. Through these activities, children have a chance to interact with others their own age and make new friends. This class is structured to help our youngest students adapt to their new environment and thrive during this important developmental transition.
Three's Class 3 1/2 by December 1, 2010
This class is for our slightly older children. Many of these children are also enjoying their first year of school, whereas some are "veterans" from the Two's class. The stories are slightly longer, the projects more advanced and the concept of calendar is introduced. This class is designed to prepare children for the Pre Kindergarten class the following year. As the year progresses, the children will begin working on activities that focus more on attention span development and enhancing fine motor skills.
Pre-Kindergarten Class 4 years old by December 1, 2009 "My Toddler and Me" 15 months to 3 years old This class is for children to attend with their parent or caregiver. It is a two-hour class that meets one or two days a week, depending on enrollment. The coordinator for this program interacts with the children and provides story, art projects and snack. The children also have free play in the classroom and on the playground. It is a perfect “first school” experience. We have found that it provides a smooth transition into our "Two's" and "Three's" classes. Parents enjoy the class as much as the children; it is a great way to meet new people and make friends.
This class is geared specifically for children who are accustomed to the preschool environment and who are going to kindergarten the following year. The children learn to count, identify letters and write their names more accurately. Teachers in this class concentrate on expanding the social and emotional skills introduced in previous years. Children learn to work cooperatively within a group. They explore the calendar more in-depth, sharpen their fine and large motor skills and develop expressive language.
